Carolyn Cummins writes:  Bulky goods have defied the malaise in the retailing sector, with vacancy rates among the larger outlets rising only marginally in the past few months.  Justin Ganly, the managing director of property economics consultants Deep End Services, which worked with the Australian Bulky Goods Retailers Association (BGRA) on a new Australian Bulky Goods Directory, said vacancy rates within homemaker centres edged up from 5.6 per cent to 6.1 per cent, while vacancy rates within homemaker precincts had actually decreased from 5.5 per cent to 4.3 per cent.  Read More
